Acidity Self-Test

What’s up with acid?

“Acidosis (too much acid in your body) is the main cause of all illness,” according to Dr. Robert Young, microbiologist and author of The pH Miracle: Balance Your Diet, Reclaim Your Health (Time Warner, 2002). Dr. Young contends that many of the foods we eat cause our bodies to be too acidic. This acid imbalance seriously compromises our ability to stay healthy.

In his book Alkalize or Die (Holographic Health, 1991), Dr. Theodore A. Baroody says the same thing: “The countless names of illnesses do not really matter. What does matter is that they all come from the same root cause…too much acid in the body.”

Use this checklist to get a sense of how acidic you may be. Determining your acidity levels isn’t an exact science, but this Self-Test can help you get a better idea of how URGENTLY you need to begin alkalizing your body.

Check and count any and all of the symptoms listed below that you may experience. The more symptoms, the more acidic you may be, and the more urgent it is for you to begin an alkalizing program.
